# Why am I being charged $100?

Whenever you buy your first label of the week on eShip, a $100.00 hold is applied to your payment method. **This is not a charge**, it’s just a hold. On the following Saturday, the $100.00 will be released and we’ll charge you the amount that represents the labels you created during the week. If you spend more than $100 before Saturday, you’ll be charged as soon as you reach $100.00.
